"In many respects this should get a 5***** review, as the attention to detail and all the little extras are just superb. But it was all a little too much for me. And please, the gravel drive doesn’t work with heavy wheeled suitcases."

"I felt like a naughty kid for turning up early, but the guy who runs it was very nice. good selection for continental breakfast and an easy walk to everything in town. owner even offered to run us down to the ferry"

"Basic cabin, toilets, showers and kitchen were clean and well maintained. The aroma in the kitchen was very uninviting. Believe it was just a combination of old food smells. Really needed to be aired out. Kitchen not open till 7am. With the number of people there for the early barge would be better of the hot water was available before that time."

"We enjoyed our stay at this lovely family bach in Ngakuta bay. Location was great, right on the water, Ngakuta loop trail, and the link trail. We enjoyed the toys and game room. This is a classic kiwi bach and you need to bring your own sheets and towels. We did not hear back when we inquired about the possibility of renting linens. The property is what we expected from a kiwi back and we really enjoyed our stay. "
