Strangely, the cleaning staff did a good job cleaning our room but kept only leaving 2 towels. We had to keep asking for more towels for hair. "Fond Doux felt like a safe haven on an otherwise rough island. Our cottage was cute and clean, the grounds were very pretty and we enjoyed exploring the property. The chocolate making tour is not to be missed. Much of the staff, however is not particularly friendly or efficient. Service at the restaurants eas very slow and unreliable (none seemed to open at the times they said they would) and even though you may be the only ones dining or drinking at the moment, don't expect speedy service. "The still beach house was a great stay. The amenities are basic but it has everything you need. Michelle was nice and helpful and seashells was the best price for great food we found in all of Soufriere. The views were amazing, the wifi was fast for working remotely, and the house keeping staff was so sweet. Captain Peter provided us with awesome excursions. Definitely recommend staying here. "
