Hotel Embassy

3.0 star property
8.6 out of 10, Excellent, (2595)
"Terrific location -- very safe, walkable to public transportation and many good restaurants and sites. The rooms are basic and a bit dated. No frills, but our purpose was to have a safe place to sleep in a good neighborhood and this most definitely met that goal. Excellent value!"

"The checkin was smooth and thry were friendly and helpful. My issues were the room condition. The two chairs for the table were in need of repair. The leather was coming off in places. Also the rug was coming up at the door to the balcony. The shower was ok. The shower head could have been better. I didnt feel liek i properly got rinsed and the tub did not have anti slip in it. As someone whos slipped and fallen and spent a month in the hospital this makes me nervous. "

"The check in was confusing. Granting I booked it 3 hours before check-in, the front desk staff couldn't find my reservation even when presented with passport. Also they didn't have me on the breakfast list when I checked and paid for the service. I don't understand why this isn't clearly on both parties reservation. I wish this to be a simple and smooth process. The staff were helpful and respectful about the process. The room was quiet, clean including the bathroom. I was hoping for better...
