"A really lovely, large traditional hotel. All the communal areas such as the bar and dining room are beautifully decorated with historical details. Room was spacious and comfortable. Good quality breakfast buffet was included. Staff attentive, professional yet friendly. An easy walk to shops and restaurants but tucked away up a quiet street on the edge of the town centre. Overall very impressed. Hope to return. "

"Nice spacious room, close to city centre with very, very friendly staff and excellent service... Food was excellent with lots of choice at breakfast, which was included in the price. Only minor point was that there were a couple of little decorative tired bits around the edges like the net curtain had a tear for example... But it was nothing so big as to take the shine off our stay. Would return absolutely and would highly recommend."
