"Hotel staff very friendly, we only had breakfast there so can’t comment on the dinners, we could fault the breakfast we had plenty of choices and could have as much or as little as you wanted. The hotel was very clean, the only negative comment I can say is that the hotel it’s self needed a good makeover as the paintwork in the bedroom was chipped and really let the look of the rooms down. "The room was basic, but it was spacious and clean and the price was fair. We appreciated the ample free parking after several nights fighting for (and paying a small fortune for) a parking spot for our rental car. We walked into the cute village of Retford (maybe a mile away) and had a drink and snack at Rondo Lounge which was a neat place. The breakfast at the Best Western was fine for the price and the staff was friendly. I recommend it if you are looking for a safe, clean place to sleep."
