"I think this hotel has got a bad reputation from previous reviews but I think you have to contextualise the market that they target. Clearly it is a budget option and the standards obviously mirror this. Could it be better? Yes of course, but then it would be more expensive. I felt it was very convenient for staying the night after a festival I attended, it had everything and more than I needed e.g. clean sheets, warm heater, excellent fast WiFi, TV, clean bathroom/ toiletries, TV and coffee/tea...

The landlord was rude, the room smelled long-term unclean, the bed was lumpy, the bedlinen was mismatched and unironed...wasn't sure it was clean.
