Room was clean and King Size bed was comfortable. Water pressure in sink was slow until I worked out how to increase it. Full English breakfast was huge and one of the best I have had in any B & B or hotel. Located in a quiet rural village and convenient for Rutland Water.
Great few nights here. Ideal location for working in the area. Had food one night in bar and was really good, breakfast good each morning, staff all very friendly and helpful. Room was quiet and spacious.
Very pleasant stay for 4 nights over NewYear. This is a popular village pub come in and the locals were supper friendly. Food was excellent and the host Emma very accomodating, helpful and chatty.
Good sized room with a nice comfortable big bed. All the usual facilities to a good standard. Good sized free on site parking to the rear. Pub attached serves a good selection of drinks & food.
A wonderful break, perfect for visiting surrounding area. Very dog friendly. Food was fantastic and very well priced.would definitely visit again.only down side ,Couldn't see out of very high window, and quite dark, but for 2 nights didn't mind

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
The staff and the food excellent, the tv and WiFi not working , decor very dated though clean , outside were dead hanging baskets and weeds which was the first impression walking from the car park
Great hotel above a friendly pub. We had a perfect stay when visiting friends. The staff and owner are incredibly lovely and helpful. We had a tyre disaster in the morning and the lovely cleaner (I’m sorry I didn’t catch your name) and Emma the owner all rallied to successfully help us out of our predicament. We would not have being able to do this without their very generous help.
Thank you so much - a great stay and lovely staff.

Eventually found a member of staff
Room ok, adjoining link room guest repeatedly tried door not the venues fault.
I believe I have found the smallest en-suite in the Uk and when will these owners realise there is a used by date on the cheapest mattress you managed to find, the bed was on the floor,
Didn’t bother with evening foodfood they didn’t offer breakfast ok for a night stop but no longer.
Great customer service. Offer of fresh milk in the room. Complimentary bottle of water in the room.
Offered to stay late if I couldn’t get there before 10pm. Offered to carry case up to the room.
Highly recommend.
We had our 16month old black labrador puppy with us so we asked for a quiet spot to eat. They gave us the snug all to ourselves. The staff couldnt have done more for us and bent over backwards to make our stay enjoyable. The service was excellent, the food was superb. I couldnt recommend this hotel highly enough. The staff are an absolute credit to the business. Thank you.
