When booking, you are told that the restaurant is closed, but you are not made aware that the whole pub is closed and there isn't a member of staff on the premises !! We did not receive instructions on how to enter the building until we had to go to the sister pub to be given the code. We received a phone call 50 mins after the check in time !!
After the first night, our room was not serviced the following day, supposedly the spare key was missing, then further services did not leave bottled water in the room. When eating in the recommended sister hotel on the Monday night ( due to restaurant being closed) at 7.00pm when we ate, nearly half of the very limited menu was not available. Hopefully we were just very unlucky with all that went wrong, but one has to worry, that in the case of fire with it not being manned, all we had was instructions to go in the car park. Who would check for missing guests?
