We received a warm welcome at reception, the rooms were stylishly decorated but homely and the overall layout of the guest areas made for an experience that was simultaneously classy but intimate. We had breakfast and dinner on both of the days of our stay and were impressed by the breadth and flexibility of the menus available and the high quality of the food and wine menu. After a five hour drive we are always met with a friendly smile from the receptionist, quite often Caitlin, which automatically makes us feel welcome and lifts us from that journey. Everything is clean and comfortable and the dining experience is excellent too. All staff are friendly and cheerful making it an even more enjoyable experience.
