"We stopped off 1 night en route to Lincoln. On site parking & well appointed rooms. Bar & restaurant areas very pleasant and breakfast was excellent. Worth knowing the bar serves coffee & cakes so would visit again even if passing through."

Public rooms were all clean, well decorated and furnished. Didn't use Bistro but the breakfast choice was good and plentiful. Great location for touring the Dales."

"Stayed for one night in room 20 which is a family room. The room was spacious and well equipped with tea/coffee facilities, USB charging, plenty of sockets, large bath and roomy shower. It is also well laid out for a family room with 2 separate areas. The double bed for the grown ups was good, although the sheet could have been a little bigger as it kept coming off and wouldn’t tuck back around. "We had a spacious room perfect for our teenage children. We had one meal which was tasty and served quickly. Rather expensive restaurant. Our second night was blighted by another guests abusive behaviour towards his partner. Maybe staff should say no to customers when they have clearly had too much alcohol. "
