"This hotel looks rather old from the outside, the reception area is in a 80's style, but this impression stops there. The rooms are newly refurbished and very comfortable. The food in the restaurant is very good and the breakfast is also very satisfactory. One of the best value for money I came accross in the last few years. "This is a typical Ibis right next to Orléans station and close to the historic area. It's everything you need and nothing fancy but clean and well located. Here is the ridiculous part. There are 4 rooms where your room key will not allow you to access the lift security. Mine was one of these. I found out after checked in and tried to get back in the lift. The man behind the desk then said I have to approach the desk every time I need to use the lift. Not acceptable. His response was rude and...

The pillow was very small and lumpy, and I was woken a number of times in the night; first at 1am by the person in the room above banging around, and again at 3am by someone in the corridor outside my room talking on the telephone. Staff are very friendly and it's close to some reasonable restaurants. I would stay here again for one night when travelling in France."
