The location is excellent. The bed was super soft. The only issue was the heater, which didn't seem to be working. We called reception, but no one picked up the phone. It was the end of the year so we were expected to find a few staff. But over all it was good.

This is a great hotel when visiting Orleans. Close to the station and the centre of town. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is also good and a check out time of 12noon very civilised.

Very unique hotel. Very very nice bed. The best shower I've ever experienced in a hotel. Stayed an overnight - checked in late around 11:15 pm and left early the next morning. This is a very lovely town. Please note: parking is off site. You have to drop your luggage off and then drive to the parking and walk back about 12 minutes to the hotel.

Worth it!
Only here for an overnight, I wish we had longer. Orleans is such a beautiful city. This charming hotel is situated a great location, close to all the hustle and bustle and sights of the historical part of the city. Do note, the hotel has no parking so Yiu need to sort that out.

Nice hotel but nightmare access and parking
The hotel is centrally located but a nightmare to get to by car as it is an a restricted area. We eventually found it after being misdirected by the sat-nav several times. The reception staff were very helpful and directed us to a secure car park within walking distance (very expensive!) but it would have been better if we had been directed to a car park in the first place.

This isn’t a 4-star hotel though it claims to be. The building is charmingly old, well located and the staff are friendly but some key features of a four-star hotel were missing: the aircon in our room didn’t work properly, the breakfast room was tiny and breakfast quite bland with a limited selection of items which the personnel was slow to replenish. If you get a good offer on a room, why not but you would probably be happier spending your money on some other hotel.

Good for a one night only
The hotel entrance is just in front of the mall/train station and easy to access if you use the underground car parking of the mall. However it was closed on a Sunday when we arrived and that made it difficult to find nearby parking ( eventually we did and street parking is free until 9am). The location is great but the room is very small. The bathroom is extremely small and when we arrived at reception we felt we didn’t get a warm welcome. Not too bad but not great. In the room there was only one set of towels so I ring reception and got the second set fairly quickly. Unfortunately it was stained…. And got it changed again.

DON’T STAY IN THIS HOTEL. Someone stole our computer from our room. We stayed there for a night from Saturday to Sunday in June. I chose the hotel because it had 4 stars and Expedia said it had parking. The first surprise is that DOES NOT HAVE PARKING, the receptionist sends you to a city parking that is 10-min. walking distance (add another 10 euros to your budget). BW will not pay it for you. The 4-star rating is an overstatement. The building is old, lacks proper maintenance. AC in rooms does not work. The coffee machine in the lobby does not work. We were given a room that had no soap and the shower drain was clogged. We asked for a room change and we got the room next door. Both (standard) rooms were small. At some point when we went briefly outside the room either that evening or the next morning, somebody entered our room, opened my backpack and stole our computer and its charging cord. Only that and for that reason we realized until we had left Orleans and had arrived to Paris. I have called the reception three times, I wrote an email… and so far, four days later, the Hotel has done nothing to help me. AVOID Best Western Hotel d’Arc. One of the worst hotel experiences in my life and I am a seasoned traveler.
