"The Lerryn is a family-run hotel with all that entails, both positive and negative. And there is a lot to like. The hotel is clean, fresh and modern (a substantial revamp in 2014, I believe) with few rough edges. The room had a homely quality that you won't find in a corporate behemoth, and any minor signs of wear were perfectly acceptable. The bed was comfy, the furniture perfectly functional, and the cleaning was excellent. Downstairs, the honesty-based bar was refreshing, and the dining room...

"My daughter is coeliac and prior to going to Lugo Rock I messaged to let them know about her special dietary needs, Katie called me as soon as she received the message and was absolutely lovely at asking what my daughter would like to eat for breakfast. She was also there to greet us when we arrived and give us helpful information on the area. Breakfast was fabulous and so too was talking to Trish. This is a wonderful find and we will be back again! "Comfortable room, though not large, with en-suite and a really comfortable bed. We were welcomed on arrival and helped upstairs with our luggage. We had key to come and go as we pleased and visited different places each day. Only one wet day, otherwise warm and sunny - good for October. Mostly came back to eat dinner at the Inn - food was delicious. Excellent breakfasts too. Staff did everything possible to make it a good holiday for us. Many thanks! "
