"Very German working class -- clean, quality food, plenty of athletic options. Dog friendly - fantastic for walking your dog. A bit old fashioned in the technology category -- no USB plugs, payment required for faster internet. Young staff is less English fluent so some patience is required. Lengthy walk thru forest to train station very pleasant but plan at least 20 mins."

It's very close to the motorway, without the consequence of hearing the cars (it's just far away enough). They're very pet friendly, our dog was welcome during both dinner and breakfast which is a big plus.
