"The hotel is located on an industrial estate which is easy to find and quiet. We had a third floor room which was fine. The decor is a little tired and the room lighting extremely dim. The television was great, nice size and easy to use. Kettle and cups etc was a good addition to the room. The shower was excellent, very powerful and no issue with limescale, which is often the norm. "A really lovely, large traditional hotel. All the communal areas such as the bar and dining room are beautifully decorated with historical details. Room was spacious and comfortable. Good quality breakfast buffet was included. Staff attentive, professional yet friendly. An easy walk to shops and restaurants but tucked away up a quiet street on the edge of the town centre. Overall very impressed. Hope to return. "
