"A very interesting experience. No shoes allowed at all inside the hotel. It’s amusing to see all the guests in slippers or socks including in the elevators and in the lobby. There is also the habit of people wandering in their kimonos which are provided by the hotel in order to access the onsens. The onsen was excellent and very high end. The restaurants in the area were a bit limited. No cute little streets and alleys full of restaurants . We were very close to interesting sites to visit. The only complaint is when using the toilet the hall light was movement triggered and would come full on. It could be a problem for light sleepers. "

"Hotel in a good location just a stroll to Kanazawa castle and gardens. Buses almost at the entrance to get everywhere else, but can also walk to Omicho Market and the Higashi Chaya district. Nice sized room for Japan and complimentary wine and sake every afternoon a lovely offer. Staff were helpful in booking a restaurant for us. "

"Super location to explore all of the beautiful city of Kanazawa. The castle and garden were minutes away as well as many museums and the Samurai and Geisha districts. The many alleyways surrounding the hotel were full of great food and entertainment, and it is right on the main street for easy bus access to the whole city. the Japanese breakfast buffet was superior there was a spa and bath on the top floor with amazing views! my room had all I needed and was well appointed. The APA Hotel Kanazawa Chuo was a great spot and a really great value-they really made my visit rememberable in the best way!"

"I love that the hotel is situated near the station and makes it easy to travel around if you need the station a lot. I find that a lot of the main attractions in Kanazawa occur near Omoicho market so I would recommend that you try to stay around that area since there are more restaurants there. The hotel provides many facilities and amenities which are nice to utilise."
