"The walk to the hotel from the Kusatsu bus station is not a mere 8-10mins or so, esp with luggage in tow and that it’s a bit steep to get to this hotel. Definitely not for older folks!! Didnt like that we also couldnt prearrange for taxi service ahead of time on our way back to Tokyo as we did not want to catch the bus again. I was able to park my rental car easily in the basement garage (1,000 yen per day). Check-in was quick. A guest can walk to many nearby stores and restaurants. Overall, I had a nice stay. Thanks!"

"Very closed to the bus station, which was about 5 mins walk. The hotel is building with old architecture, but with modern updates. It was an easy check-in process. Our room was really nice and spacious. The room was clean, but my blank had a small stain on the blanket. The wifi is really good. There is a public onsen on the lower floor for guests to enjoy. We reserved a 45 mins private onsen for 3200 yen. It was well worth it! The room was roomy and clean. It has a private shower and bathroom....
