"Brilliant heavily due to staff friendly in hotel reception and restaurant. Only marked down decor in parts run down , bed terrible.... Premier brilliant, but due to service, room and spacious room and restaurant though basic and basic, quality of food was excellent and restaurant beautiful.....will be back and have already recommended to others. "I upgraded to a deluxe room with a balcony and it was a lovely large space. Overlooking the River Teign. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Food excellent. "

"The hotel is one of the older ones but this adds to it charm in many areas. There is a lift to the upper floors. The gardens are beautiful and well kept. Offering a walk through to the sea front and shopping area. The room we had was small with a small shower cubicle with plenty of hot water, shower gel and body lotion by Dove. Everything was clean. The bed was also comfortable. Plus a sea view. We used the free indoor pool which was modern and very nice, towels and door key gained from reception. All the staff were very welcoming and happy to help at all times. Food was of a good standard and hot. Again staff did their best to help everyone. "
