"This is an affordable option in an expensive country. It’s an older property, not fancy, slightly tattered in spots, but I would stay again. The location is excellent, steps from Kelvingrove park and within walking distance to great restaurants in the west end. My main complaint is that the pillows are so thin that sleeping can be uncomfortable; I wish the owners would invest in higher quality pillows"

"Overall I enjoyed my stay at the Eglinton. The room was spacious enough and clean, the bed comfortable and the bathroom was clean with a powerful and hot shower. I had a little trouble regulating the temperature so it was warmer than I would have liked. The staff were friendly and welcoming.
