"The staff was friendly. We arrived late (but before midnight). I dislike self-service hotels I've never gotten my room without an issue and this was no different. My information was sent to my friend's email but they did not include the code to my door. The phone number we called was not answered. Thankfully a second phone number (located in my friend's room) was found and we were able to get the missing code. The staff was attentive and breakfast was included. "

"I loved the accessible remoteness of the property. The north-facing cottages are really cute. Food and drinks were so tasty. Hot tub was *very hot (not recommended for little ones). The room was ample enough for two. I would definitely stay here again. "

"Beautiful location and very convenient if traveling between south coast and golden circle. Adorable cottage perfect for a family and super clean. Only thing to beware of is decision about dinner. They offer a set menu which comes out to $60 usd per person (even children). After reading other reviews, we decided to try it expecting something really amazing and Icelandic. While the food we received tasted good and there was nothing inherently wrong with it, we were absolutely shocked at the price...

"Great place to say to see so many of the nearby attractions. Stunning property with waterfalls in the background make it feel magical! Beds are so comfortable and staff is easy to get in touch with. We had two nights here and wish we did one more! Would highly recommend staying here if you are considering!!"

"Wonderful hotel stay. Lovely breakfast, great staff. Heated bathroom floors were very welcome after a long day out in Iceland. Hotel itself is about 15-20 min off main road (1). "

"Big rooms, great shared kitchen/dining room, fast WiFi. A bit remote, 20m drive to town for restaurants and groceries. There’s a sign to call to checkin just before the kitchen. "

"Reasonable place overall. The hosts were kind and communicated well. Even though there wasn’t an on-site office, we had an issue in our room and they showed up within 5 minutes of reaching out about it. Was a great location for seeing the northern lights, we actually drove down the road a mile or two and sat by a waterfall and watched it. The morning breakfast was great. Overall, the setup is very basic, but it was a good value. We would stay again. "
