The building is about 400 years old so it did creek and shake a bit when heavy vehicles went by, but that was mainly during the day, we were not disturbed at all during the night. This was a beautifully kept property, and so convenient for both the Hospital and for Taunton town centre. "Really lovely property, arrived late but loads of outside lighting so easy to find and feels safe. Room was perfect and bathroom had everything I needed. Breakfast at The Crown was also great, Only downside was noise from the main road with lorries unloading but maybe Im a light sleeper?? Would fully recommend "
