"We had a great stay at the Manor Court Hotel. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful and the room and bathroom were pristinely clean. We ate in the restaurant and the menu had a lot of choice and our food was very tasty and very well cooked, and then the following morning our breakfast was delicious and there was a good choice. Our only negative was that we could hear the people in the room next door to us talking quite clearly, and then later we could hear one of them snoring. But...

"Fabulous stay at The White Swan Inn for two nights. Lovely area and only 30 minutes from Whitby along the most amazing road. Hotel was everything we had hoped for, friendly, cozy, great restaurant, bar and atmosphere. Lovely fires welcomed you back after a chilly day. Room was comfortable, clean and lots of tea and coffee and water available. Breakfast was amazing too. Lovely team"

"It was a convenient location. It was good to be able to leave the car outside the guest house, and for it to included in the price. My husband and I enjoyed the views from the bedroom window overlooking the bay. However the bedroom was smaller than we expected. The staff and customers were friendly. We expected our 'own' bathroom to be in our bedroom, as opposed to being on the landing next to our bedroom. "

My single room was ideal for a solo overnight stay. Comfortable and warm. Excellent breakfast included plenty of tempting options, all served in the spacious breakfast room. I would highly recommend Waves."

"Enjoyed our stay, pet friendly in most rooms which was a bonus for us because our dog travelled with us. Staff pleasant and friendly. Unsure about the food because didnt eat at the hotel, had a drink in the bar which was pleasant. They are doing work to the hotel so scaffolding to front of building. Net curtains required to the windows at front because no privacy due to the flats across the road and can see into your room. Fish and chips from the life boat fish shop was amazing. We managed to...
