"The staff were all excellent and attractive. The room was comfortable. The spa-bath in our en-suit was a lithe noisy but fun. We enjoyed a swim in the pool, not huge, but not busy. The only negative was breakfast was not very hot but otherwise the restaurant dinner was lovely, and we thoroughly enjoyed our weekend. Great location for exploring the south lakes and Furness peninsula. "

"It was ok, however the shower wasnt great one min it would just trickle out then go boiling hot. There was alao no way of turning the heating off. "

"Mainly fine. Friendly check in. Don't like the fact that my card was debited £50 despite assurance it wouldn't be. I had already paid so why the debit on my card? Hoping this is refunded ASAP .I understand a swipe in case of damage etc , but they should definitely not have taken a debit from it without my authority. BLACK MARK FOR THIS. A suggestion would be to provide disposable shower/bath sponges. Also bedroom walls are very thin meaning enforced listening to next room's conversation....

"Kirby lonsdale is a lovely quaint little village to visit, it has good walks, nice pubs/restaurants, hotels, cottages to stay in , shops with local produce, gift shops and l9cal to The Lakes and Yorkshire. "

"We were greeted on arrival by a very welcoming young lady who checked us in and showed us to our room. Room was spotless and beautifully decorated. Stayed to eat some lunch, service was friendly and efficient. After a wander round Lancaster, back to our room for showers and a change. Bathroom was clean, toiletries to hand and enough towels for the two of us. We had a quick drink before heading off for our evening meal, the bar was busy but didn’t have to wait very long. "Great stay for one night in the half term break. The guy who checked us in was great, saw my struggle with the vast amount of stairs (i have a dodgy knee) he moved us to a first floor room instead of second floor! Room was clean and tidy, seemed to be newly decorated with new furniture! Great view across the sea, and even though it was on the front the noise from traffic wasn't too bad. Just a few things that could do with a little look in to are the curtains, don't hang properly and let light...
