"Nice welcome by the owner's daughter. Pub is nice country pub. Room was nicely decorated, comfy and clean. Tea and coffee making facilties. Breakfast was cereals, croissants, etc or a cooked brekkie (which we didn't have) Specials board looked lovely (sunday roast) Emma (landlady) is a friendly, nice lady "

The WiFi and everything else worked as it should, and I'll be very happy to return to this quiet hotel at the western end of the beach, where you can take a comfortable beachside walk all the way down to the tea chalet at the foot of the cliffs"

"It was really nice and cosy little things that made it different - coffee machine, nice towels and enough of them, lots of extra pillows. Nice shampoo/handwash gels. Only downfalls no network at all on our phones as our room was in the basement downstairs and also no sunlight or any outside few when you dont have it you realise how much of a difference it makes. Location was wonderful"

"Room was perfectly acceptable (room 210) - ensuite was clean, nice mirror in main room, comfy bed with a good supply of teas/coffees. Good location opposite Eastbourne Pier. Only negative is a nasty stain on the wall 0n the right hand side of the bed - looks like someone has puked against the wall."

"Excellent place to stay, quiet, very clean, everything you need, easy parking and superb food ( best breakfast ever - such a choice ). Only concern was no staff are on site between 11:00 and 15:00 - the birthday flowers I'd ordered couldnt be delivered. Overall we really enjoyed this stay "
