"Staff are lovely and the building has some nice old touches. The bar area and restaurant are nice but the rooms although clean could do with some updating. I stayed ina standard room wich was functional and cleanly decorated but the bathroom was a little dated. I would stay again though."

"The hotel is fine and the location suited us. It was frustrating that when we booked there was very limited possibility for reserving a meal. I was surprised they didn't keep a few tables for residents. But there's plenty locally and it wasn't an issue. Friendly staff, plentiful parking, clean, warm. All good. "

"We chose this hotel as we wanted a quiet night away not too far from home and away from the busy tourist areas and it didn’t disappoint. It’s hard to judge a place on a quiet weeknight in November but we had a lovely stay. The room was lovely and clean with everything we needed. Dinner was great even if very quiet but to be expected this time of the year. Breakfast was freshly cooked and a large range of things in the buffet.
