It was clean, the staff was friendly, the breakfast was decent, the rate was affordable rate, and the location was perfect for letting us do a full day trip on our own, driving south on Ring Road with an ultimate destination of Víkurfjara Black Sand Beach. There are also several good restaurants and food hall within walking distance."

"Quaint little place to stay for the night. One of our other bookings was canceled last minute and we found Riverfront lodge. It was cloudy, but I’m sure you could see the Northern Lights from a clear night. No light pollution around. Parking was right out front, and everything was great!"
