"The staff was very helpful and nice! Oley(sp?) was always willing to give us tourist type pointers and hints. The breakfast was great! There was someone there monitoring the food to make sure it was fresh. It was a typical European breakfast with a waffle maker. 😊 The Hot tub is the same sulfur water that all the spas charge you for. And my husband loved the sauna. The Viking theme was extra fun. "

"Nice staff, easy check in, has a wine bar at the reception if you want to take away some wine/beer to your room. Nice morning breakfast. Free parking. Comfortable room and play to stay before starting the golden circle. Would stay again."

"We spent one night here as a fun novelty. Unfortunately it was cloudy, so we didn't see the northern lights or stars but that's ok! It was still a really fun quirky place to stay that was extremely comfortable and cute. Be aware: you can book an ingloo WITH or WITHOUT a bathroom. We booked one without a private bathroom so you have to walk a minute to the common building by the parking lot, it has multiple bathrooms and showers and a little kitchenette with a sink and espresso machine for use. It was like fancy camping. They had fresh towels, shampoo, etc. But we were surprised b/c we didn't read the fine print. Expensive but worth it for us for one night. "

"We stayed here for 3 nights and had the best time. They have a really nice lobby and bar area where you can sit. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They helped us figure out our activities and how we could possible go about organizing it. They also were able to accommodate an earlier check in by prioritizing our room for cleaning. This hotel is located in downtown Reykjavik and has free parking which is great. It’s also easy to be picked up for tours here as the tour companies can’t usually come to center area. It’s about a 30 minute walk from the center with most of the restaurants, shopping, and tourist stuff like the rainbow road. I think if you’re looking for something that requires you to be in the center area all the time this might feel a bit away. Parking in Reykjavik center is really tough so not easy to drive there all the time. We had booked the atrium double room. Since we are Expedia platinum members, we got upgraded to tower double room. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are pretty big. They give a lot of pillows on the bed which makes for a comfy set up. The bathroom is really nice. They have a bath tub and a shower and the floors are heated. The shower does feel small when you close the doors but you can just use the bathtub. They give a vanity kit, sewing kit, shaving kit , and dental kit. They also give these amazing robes and slipper to wear in the room. The room has a safe and fridge. "

"I loved my stay at the Greenhouse Hotel! It was such a cute and aesthetically pleasing place—every corner felt thoughtfully designed and cozy. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. Parking was super convenient, which made things even easier. One of the best parts was the food hall connected to the hotel—so many great options right at your fingertips. Would definitely stay here again!"
