"This was a nice budget place to stay, tucked away off Piccadilly in Manchester. The room was nice and of a good standard. The building is very old, so does have some unevenness to the flooring and is quite narrow by today's standards. It's a generally very well looked after place and the staff were great. I really enjoyed it and will stay again. "

"in terms of the hotel, thw room and cleanliness were good the staff were friendly, the breakfast buffet was good. Nice location. The only issue we had that was beyond control of the hotel was noisy neighbours up to 3am each night. complained and the staff dealt with it!!"

We were in a newer part of the complex, which has a restaurant, but we went down to the main restaurant/bar area and had a great conversation with the bar manager.
