"The older gentleman working there was so lovely, very helpful and was such a great first impression of the business. This was a last minute booking so we just needed a bed for the night, the duvet was a bit dirty (had some stains and bits on it) but overall the room was tidy and did the job. We had a double bed and I’d say it would have been worth the money to pay for a queen and have the extra room as it’s a tight double bed. "Like this property. The rooms are big and very comfortable. The only thing we were disappointed about was because it being Christmas Day on our first morning our room was not serviced and we had no dry towels or clean washcloths on our 2nd morning. We understand the holiday problem but fresh towels could have been left for us. Other than that all was good and would stay again."

"Surprisingly great cottage accommodation near Auckland. Could be good for an extended stay, but we had only the one night. The property is in a recessed gully on the land, so suffers from poor mobile connectivity, and the on-site WiFi was no better in the specific cottage we had -- wouldn't do for us for a longer stay. Some of the other units (opposite side of the gully) may have better reception. Hosts were great, and we have only praise for everything else but the lack of decent internet."
