"Just awful 😞 a large empty car park except for one car and a smashed glass bar door covered up with a piece of plywood greeted you when you drove in. It spoke volumes really. We checked in which was pleasant enough by a helpful young man, and checked out again 5 minutes later. Not a good sign when the cleaning team were still cleaning the bedrooms at 4.30pm. But the main thing was the overwhelming smell of the corridors and the rooms was enough to make your eyes water and you could still smell...

"Good hotel but over-priced. Comfortable room, good atmosphere in bar and restaurant, friendly young staff. Wifi didn't work in bedroom, despite being reset by staff. Breakfast was awful - 50 minutes wait for any food (no buffet) and then arrived cold."

"Nice and comfortable room I had booked a suite which was nice but the sofa was more like a large single chair, two could not sit together unless very slim. Food was okay which we ate in our room and staff were helpful."

"Clean comfortable rooms. The staff were friendly and helpful and there is a good choice of food for breakfast. If you want a drink or evening meal the adjoining restaurant and bar is a great choice."
