"The staff were so friendly and welcoming. We were given free coffee and biscuits while the lady checked that our room was ready,which it was. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast was self serve and lovely. There was full English, cereals, fruits and seeds,yoghurts, croissants and pastries and various breads. Jams,honey and Nutella were available for the toast. "For a hostel it did the job but there were no towels (had to pay extra) and no floor mat on the bathroom. Shower would spray water all over the floor so the floor was consistently wet as nothing dries in the humidity. Also no wifi the entire stay even though it advertises free wifi but it didn’t connect once while we were there "

"The staff were fantastic! They phoned a week before we were due to stay to let us know the main lift had broken. I’m disabled and cannot manage stairs. They offered a solution of using their service lift, where a member of staff would be on hand to escort us to the lift and open it for us.
