"The President Hotel is a bit rough around the edges. We liked its convenient location. We felt safe and, although the room has seen better days, it was clean and comfortable. Although the major roadwork underway in the area can make things tricky, if you’re sticking to walking you’ll be fine. The hot breakfast was not a gourmet meal, but it was hearty. The staff were helpful and polite. The hotel is in the midst of major renovations, so I’m guessing it will be much less affordable soon. "

"Great location. Good price for Parnell. Liked that they allow dogs ($50/night) and have parking ($10/night, first come first served). Was clean and the check in lady was nice. Absolutely fantastic restaurants within a couple minutes walk. I'd stay there again."
