"Hotel Langaholt was great! It was the perfect stay for a quiet and relaxed stop in our trip. The hotel offers dinner (about $50 USD) but other dining options are within a 30-minute drive as well. Breakfast in the morning is free and delicious! Parking is free and there is access to a beach from the hotel. "

"This is a beautiful getaway hotel removed from everything else — tucked away in a remote little piece of Iceland where you can wake up to birds singing and the sound of crashing water. Everything has clearly been recently renovated: the beautiful rainfall showers, huge LED-lit mirrors, comfortable beds, balconies, bar and lounge areas, etc. The staff are wonderful, too — as is the breakfast. Down side is that this is remote indeed, so your only walkable eating option is their restaurant — and...

"Vogur Country Lodge is in a very remote part of Iceland. The area is stunningly beautiful and this hotel is a perfect place to stay as a gateway to the West and West Fjords. The hotel is clean, comfortable and well staffed by Constantin, who prepared incredible meals. The hotel has a hot tub and a sauna. It's a lovely place to stay. I hope I get a chance to come back!!"

"Unique property! We stayed here for one night when going around Iceland. The place was amazing and very clean. Breakfast was just what we needed to get the day going. Only cons I would say are location (a little out of the way and some roads were gravel) and heating (fairly small space heater, just takes time to warm up the place). Probably our favorite stay during our Iceland trip!"

"A wonderful place to stay. It was really a mini-cabin, with a kitchenette and a couch, plus a long bench on which to lay suitcases and stuff. Very clean and very well thought-out, with a Scando interior. Bath was ultra-modern. Quiet, bright, and with big windows and nice lighting. Best of all, we got to see the Northern Lights! Would definitely stay agaibn"

"Life on a horse farm, with beautiful Icelandic show horses, was terrific. Fully appointed kitchen and outdoor grill meant we could cook up a storm and grill some tender lamb for dinner. The owners were welcoming and the horses were gentle and beautiful. Location was perfect for the Gerduberg basalt cliffs and the gorgeous coastal hike from Arnastapi to Hellnar on the Snaefellsnes peninsula. Four adults were comfortable sharing the cottage."

"My wife and I loved the apartment. The hallways in the building have a very strong smell of cigarette smoke, but inside the apartment is very clean and comfortable. Parking wasn't as convenient as I would have liked, but we got lucky and eventually got a parking spot right next to the building. "
