"I've not stayed here for a couple of years, i used to stay a few times a year for work. The welcome i got was like I'd been away a couple of weeks. The staff are fabulous. Since my last visit the hotel has undergone updates which make it even more pleasant. The food as ever was great, the restaurant benefits from the new furniture. Breakfast is buffet style and works well. The sausages actually have some taste to them which makes a pleasant change. "

"Lovely hotel with large rooms and grand looking restaurants and a nice bar. It’s a bit pricey, but nothing you wouldn’t expect from a nice hotel. The food was lovely and the waiter even played our choice of music because we were the only ones dining at the time (mid-week stay)."

"Did the job we needed. Breakfast was fine and room was reasonable. Staff were ok. The outside seating area at the hotel entrance was untidy with empty drink glasses left outside for hours on end. "

"I have stayed at Hinsley Hall twice recently and it's just an oasis of calm. I really like the setting and the reassurance it provides. It reminds me of conferences I visited with my parents as a child(!) and just removes any drama from business trips. "

"When I arrived a power cut had caused a disruption to checking in. I was offered a free drink and was manually let into my room around 45 minutes later. Ivy was super lovey, and they explained everything about what happened clealy. The bedroom was clean and comfy, I did get a little chilly and couldn't work the thermostat, but it wasn't that much of an issue for me to mention to reception. "

"Overall a very pleasant stay with all needs met. Lovely brekky offered and we appreciated the added touch of ‘halal sausages’ on the breakfast menu. Very inclusive! The only complain I have is that the bed was a let down. Unfortunately it didn’t meet up to our standards and we were uncomfortable most of the night. "

"I can't comment on the area around the property as we arrived late at night & left early in the morning. It was a convenient place to stop over enroute further south. Would definitely recommend it. "

"Beds comfy, shower great, breakfast good. Bit tired and creaky floors but also good location as very central. Staff were lovely. Good for the price we paid."
