"We spent a long weekend at the Passage House Hotel. We stayed in a deluxe double room with balcony on the top floor room, which is a must. The room and facilities were fantastic. "The biggest plus about this property is the staff: they were wonderful, both at check-in and at check-out. The lobby area is large and inviting, and well-lit. Rather than having on-site parking, the property chose to turn the hotel forecourt into outdoor seating with picnic tables. While sitting outside might be nice in the wamer summer months, not having on-site parking is a negative: the hotel sits on a residential street, so street parking nearby is at a premium. "Most everything about the room was clean and tidy, the toilet pedestal however was very dirty, the cleaners need to look below the seat area! Carlos on reception was great thank you "

"Hotel was well decorated in the main areas - looking fairly newly redone. The service was good. The only issue is the quality of the breakfast buffet is terrible - i mean really terrible. We arrived at breakfast around 9.30 - the eggs were like rubber, sausages the cheapest you can buy, bacon like rubber, instant coffee only. The toast was the highlight, which speaks volumes. Otherwise a great stay."
