"Great location next to some more authentic parts of the old town, and not in the tourist center which doesnt anymore look like Hanoi. This is close to the market areas etc where you can see proper old town, not the tourist streets with western hotels and restaurants. Still close to those too, so you can walk to those quickly anyway. Only issue with the hotel is, that the sounds from the corridor sound too much into the rooms, and I had to wear earplugs some mornings when the cleaning ladies...
