"This place was beautifully decorated inside and out. Great price for amenities: indoor pool and hot tub area was huge and actually had towels stocked plus many games for kids throughout. Outdoor pool and pickle ball court was an added bonus!! Offered self service laundry facility and provided free detergent. The only thing to improve would be a bell at the front desk because there is rarely any one there. They are usually “in the back” and have to call the facility to speak with someone."

"This is my first time staying with Under Canvas and I will definitely try it again. Highly recommend! I stayed at the Keystone/ SD site for my 26th wedding anniversary with my hubby. It was magical with the night sky and stargazing! At around 8:30pm we saw the lights turn on at Mount Rushmore national Monument. We could see it from our deck! The food was good and staff friendly and professional! Extra nice to have free coffee and tea for guests! Truly memorable. Thank you! "

"This place was perfect for two couples who wanted a base for exploring the Black Hills area. We each had our own bedroom and had lots of space to play card games in the evening when we were done exploring. We stayed for 3 nights and really enjoyed it. The breakfasts were great also. We would definitely stay again when in the area. Somewhere in the information about this place they should explain that you check in next door at the Best Western.( and use their amenities) "

"Nice rustic cabin just outside of hill city. This is an old cabin attached to the office/coffee shop. Never heard any noise from inside the shop. Because the cabin is very old it is not level inside. Also there is no separate air conditioning from the shop and the cabin, if you need it on you have to call. We just left the door open until bed and that helped cool it off. Has a small refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot which was more than enpugh for us. Bed comfortable. If you are there...
