"This was one of the best stays I’ve ever had. The staffs went above and beyond of us! The rooms were extremely clean amazing views. The staff helped booked all the tours for us with transportation included. I would come back in a heart beat! The can’t not recommend this place enough! "This was the perfect spot for our family’s first time to La Fortuna and Costa Rica. If you don’t mind the drive into town for activities, which we didn’t at all, this place is quiet and beautiful! We loved sitting at both open-air restaurants and having a drink while our kids swam in the hot springs. The hiking trail and river slide/swimming were beautiful. We saw lots of birds and heard all the cicadas and howler monkeys in the evenings. We would definitely stay again!"

"Really felt like staying in the rainforest, but with excellent food and service. Villa was very private. Not a wildlife preserve, but we did see monkeys, a mom and baby sloth, birds, and lizards on the expansive property. The geothermal pools and the use of all 3 Nayara restaurants and facilities were major plusses that probably aren't emphasized enough."

Exceptional Customer Service

"The woman at the front desk who checked us in and helped us make a reservation in the restaurant was so gracious and helpful that she alone deserves five stars! All staff were great, and treated us with kindness and helpfulness. Upon arrival, we were greeted with ice cold lemonade, which was much appreciated after a long day in the warm weather. The service staff definitely enhanced our stay. Thanks to all!"

"We really liked the small B&B room we reserved. Space for 4 people, very clean and nice inside. It is located wirhin walking diatance to the downtown Monteverde area. It was actually a bit cool at night and so we started a small fire in the heater and it was great."

"Location up in the rain forest was beautiful. Really felt far removed from town, even though it really wasn’t that far. Staff is amazing; attentive and friendly. The view from the main lodge was so peaceful. Rooms are large albeit a little spartan but I do appreciate their eco practices. The food at the restaurant was the best we had while in Costa Rica."

"Francisco, Karien, Ava and the res of the staff were great!!! They assisted with all our day tours and transportation. Nice having laundry service available and a great breakfast every morning. My wife & I enjoyed the location (nice & quiet) away from the noise of downtown. Would certainly go back to this facility."

Historical Hacienda

"Hacienda is a great spot. Beautiful grounds, great restaurant, and great service. It’s showing its age a bit and could use a little updating and some maintenance. Our room was very nice and comfortable but the AC did not cool the room well. It did not detract from the overall stay though."

"It is a longer walk to the town, but you have convenience of free breakfast and dinner dining on the property. I loved that it was the closet to the Cloud Forest - we walked to the ticket window! Wonderful garden views from our room. Very peaceful. Staff was very helpful in booking tours for us. "
