"What a beautiful, historic property! That being said, the word “historic” is code for “no elevator”. The location is perfect, easy walking distance to all the tourist spots, and every staff member was friendly and helpful. We could not have asked for a nicer stay, and we hope to be back soon!"

"Hotel was right in the middle of downtown. Easy to get to many restaurants and some attractions without having to drive everywhere. "

"The East Bay Inn was quaint and charming with old bricks on the walls of the rooms. The room was spacious. William met me at my car and was so helpful and friendly. The other staff members were extremely helpful with suggestions for the area visit. I loved the location as it was on Bay street but a little removed from the most traffic. I easily walked to River street and restaurants in the area and could walk to the various squares. I highly recommend this hotel. Nancy"

"It’s a beautiful, historic building with spacious rooms & comfortable beds. I gave 4 stars bc we had to wait a long time to check in. There was only one person at the desk and she prioritized phone calls over the people waiting at the desk. Also, our hand soap was empty-something that should be checked by daily housekeeping. It’s on the edge of the historic district so a bit of a walk to get to restaurants. Very quiet though by being off of the main strip. Large surface lot-easy parking. $25...
