"Stayed for one night and wanted a hotel that offered more than a standard hotel offers. We had a large (almost huge) comfortable room with plenty of hanging space in the wardrobe, a king sized comfortable bed and a lovely en-suite. Would definitely stay there again."

"We booked in to stay while attending an event nearby, and the location was perfect to get to and from it easily. The staff at the hotel were exceptionally attentive and good-humoured, which made us feel really welcomed. It was an easy check-in, helped by the fact that you can do some of it online. The place was a bit of a maze of corridors when you went up to find your room, which took a bit of getting used to when it came to navigating. One area had a rather musty smell in the corridor, but...

"Nervous to visit after reading reviews. However, there is a lot of refurbishment going on. The downstairs looks fabulous and the car park/outside space is being worked on. The room was ropey, window held open with a block of wood and a pane of glass missing. Curtains not hanging correctly and a socket out. But, we arrived when they were busy and so checking in was delayed. The staff apologised for wait, and the room! The breakfast was absolutely banging and the staff were exceptional. Helpful...

"I was really excited to be able to stay at the Jockey Club Rooms being something of a horse fanatic! I wasn't disappointed! Everything about our stay was absolutely excellent. Our room was super. The Staff are really helpful. Breakfast is Top Notch! The atmosphere is Unique, and the Art Work a joy to behold! Hope to return soon!!!"
