"Fantatadtic helpful staff. Richard on the reception in the was a credit to the hotel. As was the lady who brought our meal to the table. The evening meal was delicious, and just the correct temperature. The bad was a bit lumpy, but considering the hotel was right next to a busy A14, there was no teafgic to be heard."

"I visit about 30.40 hotels per year from 3 to 5 stars and I never write reviews. I must say I've never had a staff, at check-in and check-out that was so fantastic, smiling and very kind, in a genuine way, not in a "trained" way. A real great experience. The premises are ok. The only "bad" thing is that the TVs are smaller than a microwave :-D. And Room 6 has the water in the faucet not draining correctly. Take care and thank you the check-in/out team."

"The hotel is in a lovely position overlooking a river and fields with balcony seating, perfect for the time we stayed there as we had lovely sunny weather. The only criticism was that the fan in the bathroom wasn’t working and the hairdryer also stopped working however these have been reported and were being looked into. We paid extra for breakfast which we enjoyed but the coffee wasn’t very nice at all and is served out of metal jugs. A coffee machine would be better which most hotels now use...

"Super little Hotel in a perfect location for walking into the City centre. Approx 30 mins walk from the river, punting etc. Although on a main road, we heard no traffic noise at all from our room. Would happily stay there again on our next venture to Cambridge."

"Christ's College is an old institution with lovely grounds in the centre of Cambridge and it is easy to walk to attractions.The accommodation is in a modern block at the back of the grounds and was built by the architect for the National Theatre .So I was faced with a huge flight of concrete steps and no lift!Luckily I had help with my case from a gardener on my arrival and a cleaner as I left and in between I got quite fit! But I think you should warn prospective guests with limited mobility...
