"Excellent from check in, (bit shocked at car parking cost.). Room, was clean (dusty on head board) sofa bed mattress very thin, son didn't sleep to well both nights, shower head.wouldnt sit straight but lovely shower. Room either cold or to hot, very chilli by window. Food was nice on the first night, 2nd night the curry was not so good, very small portions, rice very bland. Breakfast was fantastic, such a good selection.All staff were excellent, very attentive. We will definitely be back....

"Apart from Hotels.com not sending the booking to them it was an amazing stay. The receptionist was superb, helpful and apologetic. The room was cosy, warm with a comfortbale bed and a nice en-suite shower room. Food in the restaurant was amazing, great choice, fresh and delicious"

"Nice cosy hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful . Had superior rooms over looking the street , they were very spacious with lovely comfortable bed and had everything needed for a stay . Breakfast was lovely with a good choice of food , good quality and tasty for the cost . Sunday roast lunch is lovely. Definitely recommend this hotel and looking forward to returning. "

"Friendly helpfull staff. Comfortable & clean in need of a bit of TLC . Shower looked good but didn't use it... my fault as I was put off by large window in bathroom which had a net curtain, I didn't notice till too late the blind! Very good location for town, cathedral/gardens & Apex. Got car in their car park which is small not sure where you would park if no spaces. "
