"The hotel was in the heart of the old historical district of Porto. We could walk to the historical sites. It was an easy 15 minute walk down hill to the Douro River but challenging to walk back uphill."

"The property looks newly renovated with hi tech feeling. The room was clean and the check-in was fast and easy. The location is "in the middle of everything". The property has locking boxes where you can temporarily store your belongings. They had a nice terrace at second floor. Cons: - comunications. Through Expedia you get no answers. Through the phone they posted, as well. Through the phone they send you 3 days in advance for SMS and WhatsApp nothing. I sent a message asking for parking...

"I know for some people having to leave your key at reception is jarring and confusing but in practice it's not too inconvenient as the hardworking hostess is always at reception at all hours. The location is great for access to a direct metro to/from the airport, although it's not right in the centre of the action. I would recommend this hotel if you're happy to use the metro and/or walk into the centre"

"Good . . . Was clean, spacious, well equipped, friendly and warm welcoming, great cleaning service, helpful staff, good temperature control, great view from balcony, excellent location Less good . . . Strong smell of paint in communal area, very stiff door lock, noisey people above the bedroom."

"A couple of maintenance bits to sort out (had a door handle loose on the bathroom) but aside of that a great value for money place. A special shout out to Paulo on reception who was incredibly helpful and gave us suggestions and helped with the luggage on our last day. All the staff were friendly and welcoming. Ideally located for the highlights of the city. Blackout blinds in the room and super silent aircon was a real bonus!"
