"The location was ok, close to the Metro Centre & other shopping options. The room was a bit tired looking and SO hot, the options are having the heater on or off, theres no thermostat to adjust the room temperature. The bed was a double which was rather cosy! Probably my fault for not checking that on booking. Breakfast is included, it was ok. The hash browns were a bit soggy & the bacon was underwhelming. Staff at breakfast seemed more intent on loudly discussing their lives in the kitchen...

"I rested really well and we desperately needed after 15 hours travelling by plane and waiting times, jet lag etc. So it was comfy and clean, I loved the toiletries by rituals which is one of my fav brands, and they left a small gift box of rituals products which I was very happy about it. The staff was really friendly and helpful and the buffet breakfast was very nice and had good variety. We felt refreshed with a bath, I only was missing a hairdryer but we will definitely go back to Novotel...

"Really friendly staff! Didnt get the name of the guy but he was super friendly and he was working the breakfast (which was really nice) and was talking to me about plans for the day etc. The room was great, beds and pillows super comfortable, very clean too! Heating and shower fairly simple to use. Second stay in this hotel and ill definitely be coming back next time i need a hotel in Newcastle!!!!"

"Booked this very very last minute, like 30 mins before arriving. I was unsure exactly what I was getting but it was far better than the Premier Inn I had stayed in the night before. The room was modern & spotless. The staff were warm & welcoming & the cooked breakfast included was excellent."

"Absolutely brilliant value for money. The design of the rooms are so aesthetic for the price. I felt like I was in a really expensive hotel. The beds, pillows and duvets were very comfortable. The place was spotlessly clean. The check in process using an app as your door key meant I could walk straight into the hotel with no waiting around to check in. Plenty of plug sockets and USB ports. "Lovely attentive staff, bar and restaurant busy but atmospheric which was lovely, food good. Hotel room ok, so hot couldn't sleep had to turn Radiators down and open the window, but then we heard the noise of the traffic unfortunately both my husband and I hardly slept! 6 am someone was emptying bottles into the recycling bins which woke us up yet again, never managed to get off again."
