"This hotel is in the heart of a very vibrant Naples neighbourhood. Tons to see around here and easy to walk around or close to a metro station to get to other areas. The staff was very helpful and always available at the front desk. We had a rental car and the staff assisted us in finding a reasonable parking deal at a garage next to the main Naples train station. The one close to the hotel was very expensive. The included breakfast is impressive with an extensive variety of items to fill up on....

"We had a great stay at Hotel Herculaneum overall! The hotel and its facilities were clean and well-kept. Our room was clean and had everything we needed. It even had a lovely balcony overlooking the street! It was tidied up daily and washcloths and bathmats were replaced daily (there is no Do Not Disturb sign - which we didn’t mind). There was a slight drainage issue in our shower on our first night (which caused a little flooding) but the issue seemed to have been fixed by the time we returned...

We were moved to a smoking room (we are a non smoking family) but it was for one night only and the wifi worked so I didn’t object (wifi needed for son’s school work). "When we walked from train station the streets have lots of rubbish and homeless people and lots of police. It’s like any big European city. Never felt bothered. Next to hotel there are street vendors. Hotel itself was nice, rooms were spacious, a bit of street noise. All the staff were friendly. The breakfast was good as well. "
