"The entrance and lounge area are impressive and have a grand feel to it. The reception staff were all very helpful and friendly and checking in was easy. We had booked a double room which was on the second floor at the front of the hotel. We found the room to be quite noisy as it faced the road outside. Also there was a beer delivery in the early hours so that disturbed our sleep. The room was clean and comfortable and was sufficient for our 1 night stay. Hairdryer, tea/coffee and toiletries...

"Lifts were very good staff on the whole excellent although not having our room service till we ask at 4.30 pm why it wasn’t done then they only changed the towels with a bit of a giggle let the hotel down also not being told till we arrived that parking was in a ncp car park down the road !!!! "

We emailed before we went to book a quiet room, & got a reply straight away stating it was sorted. We arrived early (certainly earlier than when it was advertised our room would be ready), & they were happy to store our luggage. This left us free to go into Harrogate (a five minute stroll).
