"This is a nice, budget hotel. The staff were really friendly and helpful, the room was small but clean and the beds were really comfortable. The issue for me is the location, it doesn’t feel very safe coming back later at night (not super late, but post-theatre for example). It’s very dark, the street lighting is terrible and you can’t get off at the closest DLR station - there is no platform, you need to get off at Westferry, which feels a bit dodgy. "Stayed as 5 ladies in a family room 1 double & 3 singles. Good size rooms, bathroom was quite small & very dated but we didn’t have issues with the shower or hot water. We managed. The reception staff were very friendly & professional, answered all our questions & helped us with both buses & taxis to our destinations. Breakfast was excellent, good choice, hot & tasty. We had a great time & would definitely return for future O2 visits. "
