"Lovely hotel, only one thing is water not hot enough for a bath and also bath very small, breakfast was lovely everything hot and large choice. Lady on desk was really nice , felt sorry for her running around on her own , felt should have more staff on but she kept smiling ."

"I liked the historic interest in the property it would a good idea to offer a printed brochure showing some of the history of the structure. We did not like the shower set up the nozzle kept drooping down so it was a real Nuisance trying to shower"

"Great breakfast, hotel is close to a major road, so we had road noise (fine with windows closed but needed them open as in a heatwave) Staff helpful, the only downside being that no food available on site except for breakfast. Plenty of other options available nearby. "

"I was travelling my motorbike and they very kindly let me park in an enclosed yard at the back. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Both the public areas and the room were clean and modern. Food in the evening was good and great value, the bar had a good atmosphere with locals and guests. Room included a nice continental breakfast. I would happily stay here again. "
