"Positives: great location, kitchen equipment well stocked, plenty of towels, comfortable furnishings, nice to be able to sit outside and watch the trains go by. Negatives: problems with plumbing in bathroom, ie flexible shower just dribbled, when WC is flushed water runs from the bath tap and can be tricky to get it to stop. Outside movement sensor light not working. "

"Absolutely fantastic place , couldnā€™t fault it if I wanted to . Really peaceful and was great just to sit back and listen to the wildlife . We also went for a walk to the waterfall. I would recommend it to anyone. Jack , the host was also fantastic, he couldnā€™t do enough for us . Canā€™t wait to return . "

"Quaint little cottage in the lovely quiet hamlet of Cwm Penmachno. There are amazing views from the cottage across the valley. We went for a couple of great walks up the disused quarry, just up the road. Once at the top of this walk there are fantastic views of the valley. "The accommodation was very poor standard. The small bedroom had no electricity except for overhead light. Situation of bed meant no access to bedside table in that room. Really unfit for purpose The place felt grubby. Not enough crockery. No basics left eg milk bread washing up liquid. "Had a fantastic stay at this property, it was very clean and tidy and has been well looked after. The beds were comfortable with spacious rooms. It's in a beautiful location and so so quiet and there is lots to do without having to drive too far. The hot tub was again very clean and a nice way to relax at the end of the day. The owner was lovely and was available if needed. Couldn't fault our stay, we wanted to stay longer!"
