"Overall it was a good stay and the location is not too far from the city centre. An area I think could do with some improvement is the noise. The windows weren’t blocking much noise and the floors are quite squeaky. We were able to sleep well overall, but the noise can wake you up."

"Well looked after ahead of the Bath Half Marathon. We were able to get a late check out if 2pm, which meant I could come back for a shower after the run Staff were very helpful."

"Good hotel with excellent restaurant for lunch and evening meal however breakfast was continental only. Pastries and croissants were not fresh and on the hard side on both mornings. A coffee machine would be a welcome addition rather than instant sachets. Rooms are lovely and comfortable. Good telly signal. Good Wi-Fi. Fridge. Windows did not close properly so you could hear the weir but that did not bother us at all. Great views out of windows. This hotel is not for guests with mobility...

"Lovely old hotel, easy access to Oxford and the Cotswolds. The food was average and unfortunately the local pub didn’t serve food on Tuesdays. I would stay there again"

"A beautiful and calming room to rest in after exploring Bath. And it’s about 10 minutes walk to the city center and also right across the road from the train station so couldn’t be more convenient. Friendly staff as well. "
